Now into its 20th year, the Taichung Jazz Festival continues to promote jazz band training for young musicians. Through a range of diverse classes, the program enhances students’ playing abilities and understanding of jazz, offering numerous performance opportunities for them to showcase their skills. This year, a free seven-day training program is available students aged 12-18, selected through an audition process. Renowned local jazz musicians will serve as instructors, starting with basic techniques and advancing to jazz theory and improvisational skills. The program provides abundant learning resources and a professional learning environment, helping aspiring musicians to experience jazz and shine on stage.

The School of Rock Taichung Flagship Store is a performance-oriented, all-ages music school located at the intersection of Wenxin Road and Gansu Road in Taichung City. Covering an area of 300 ping, it boasts 30 professional classrooms, a performance space, and a musical instrument store, all specifically designed to provide a premium-quality music learning environment.
With its unique systematic and group courses, students can develop social skills in an engaging group setting. Performance-oriented, School of Rock offers numerous opportunities for students to perform on stage, helping them build confidence and fully showcase their musical talents.
