Jenni Tsai’s Not A Lady Quintet plays in the style of hip hop, R&B, funk and soul. Combining these musical genres with the jazz tradition of improvisation, Not A Lady creates music that’s irresistibly groovy and danceable. Formed almost a decade ago, the quintet has performed in jazz bars and music festivals domestically and abroad, including jazz festivals in Taipei and Taichung, as well as Shanghai JZ Festival and Hangzhou Bloom Music Festival. Having played many times in Taichung, Not A Lady is sure to captivate the audience with their infectious rhythms and boundless musical energy.
