CODE is an instrumental electronic jazz fusion band formed in 2021 in Hong Kong, consisting of guitarist ZiTi, drummer Gill Mok, bassist Maka and sound designer and keyboard Loisey.

Influenced by bands like Athletic Progression, Toe, Mouse on the Keys, Now vs Now, and Yussef Kamaal, Code’s free-flowing peculiar compositions featuring tense, thorough drumming, dynamic guitar interplay, versatile tones and splendid bass-lines, bizarre note choices from the keyboard, combining cinematic modular synth sound design with odd-meter arrangements.

In September 2021, the band released the single, ‘Brunch’ and then gained the local music scene’s interest after several live performances. Code got invited to one of the biggest outdoor jazz festivals in Hong Kong in 2022. They released their first debut album ‘Daddy’s Secret Folder’ in 2023, before the biggest outdoor music festival Clockenflap, at which international bands such as FKJ, Arctic Monkeys, Mono, Milet, Wu-Tang Clan also played. They performed their overseas debut show at BiKN festival in Tokyo, Japan 2023.
