Alex Sipiagin Quartet features stellar musicians, with Gene Jackson on drums, long-time collaborator with Herbie Hancock, simply one of the most wanted drummers in the world; Boris Kozlov, one of the top bass players in New York since early 90s, with more than 25 years of music directorship with Grammy-Award winning Mingus Big Band; YuYing Hsu, one of the best pianists in Taiwan and Asia, winner of many awards; and Alex Sipiagin, a household name in the international jazz scene since the 90s, 4-time Grammy winner who collaborated and recorded with, sharing the same stage with jazz greats such as Michael Brecker with his Quindectet, Dave Holland Big Band, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, just to name a few.  Alex also has more than 30 solo recordings to his belt, with the most recent one “Live in Taiwan”. This quartet represents fresh modern jazz sounds of New York, and will be performing mostly Alex’s original compositions.
