The Taichung Youth Jazz Orchestra training program, organized by the Taichung Jazz Festival each year, has discovered and supported a vast number of local musicians. Its ongoing program has helped produce many outstanding jazz musicians in Taiwan. The Taichung Youth Alumni Jazz Orchestra, comprising of Ying-Chen Lin, Jun-Pu Ruan, Da-Wei Wang, Ming-You Li, and other members who have taken part in the training program, get together once again to showcase their abundant talent. Highlighting the theme song of the Taichung Jazz Festival this year, the orchestra brings audiences an evening of swinging, high-energy jazz. The youth orchestra training program continues to draw young musicians to jazz music, providing them with a supportive community to hone their skills and take their musicianship to the next level.
