JABBERLOOP, formed in Kyoto in 2004 and currently based in Tokyo, is an instrumental band actively performing both domestically and internationally. Known for their captivating melodies and danceable rhythms, they released their debut album “and infinite jazz...” under Columbia Music Entertainment. They also released a 12-inch vinyl record “UGETSU” through the UK music label Mukatsuku Records. They garnered growing attention in Europe and America after DJ/ music critic Gilles Peterson played their music on BBC radio.

In 2010, JABBERLOOP boldly experimented with blending jazz and rap by collaborating with Taiwanese rapper Soft Lipa on the album “Moonlight.” The album received widespread acclaim across Asia and was nominated for Best Mandarin Album at the 22nd Golden Melody Awards, becoming a classic representative of Taiwanese jazz hip-hop and amassing significant popularity in Taiwan. The song “Dental Driller” from the album was used in the popular video game World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2011. JABBERLOOP also successfully performed a two-day show at the Blue Note Beijing with Soft Lipa.

JABBERLOOP's music breaks away from the traditional frameworks of jazz, skillfully combining Acid Jazz, Big Band, and Future Jazz styles. In 2024, JABBERLOOP will celebrate their 20th anniversary, as they continue to bring fresh and innovative music to the global stage.
