AORA, an award-winning a cappella group from Stockholm, Sweden, was formed by six professional vocalists in 2016. In 2023, they won the second gold prize in both the unplugged and pure vocal categories at the vokal.total International A Cappella Competition in Graz, Austria. In 2021, they won first prize at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival in Finland. In 2019, they won second prize at the International A Cappella Contest in Leipzig, Germany. In 2022, AORA was awarded the prestigious “Kaggestipendiet,” a renowned a cappella award presented by the world-famous Swedish male choir Orphei Drängar.

In 2022, they released their debut EP “Puls” (Pulse), featuring original music sung in their native language. The EP explores common thoughts, feelings, and challenges encountered in daily life, guiding listeners through a wide range of themes. AORA’s original songs have been praised for their resonant lyrics and arrangements, drawing audiences into musical landscapes of folk, pop, and jazz.
